Philadelphia, PA (December 2025) — On Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 7:30 pm, internationally-acclaimed pianist Jonathan Biss and artists from the Curtis Institute of Music will perform on behalf of the nationally-based, musician-led initiative, Music for Food, in a concert to benefit the life-changing work of The Sunday Love Project addressing the needs of those experiencing food insecurity in our community. Mr. Biss is the founder of the Philadelphia chapter of Music for Food.
100% of the concert proceeds will go to The Sunday Love Project.
An exceptional array of Curtis musicians join pianist Biss performing Three Romances by each Clara Schumann (violin & piano) and Robert Schumann (oboe & piano); followed by Győrgy Kurtág’s Schumann-inspired Hommage à Robert Sch., Op. 15d; and Mozart’s lyrical Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 493. After the concert, the audience is invited to meet the musicians in the Bok reception room.
