Margaux Murphy, Founder and Executive Director, The Sunday Love Project

Margaux has been feeding people in need for over eight years. She founded The Sunday Love Project to expand her work providing food for vulnerable Philadelphians. Prior to founding the Sunday Love Project, Margaux was the owner-operator of a house cleaning service for twenty years. Margaux lives in the same zip code as The Greater Goods grocery store and is proud to serve the people in her community.

Margaux was recognized for her vison and dedication when she was awarded The Philadelphia Award for 2021 https://www.philadelphiaaward.org/ in recognition of her efforts of serving hundreds of thousands of sit-down meals and opening the Greater Goods Grocery Store.

Margaux received her BA degree from Naropa University (formerly named The Naropa Institute).

Veronica Blum, Board Member

Broker, MPN Commercial Realty

Veronica Blum joined MPN in 2005 and has grown their retail leasing division to nine agents under her direction. She also serves as an active mentor to real estate agents across the city. With a thorough understanding of the regional food culture and strong relationships with chefs and other restaurant industry professionals across the city, Veronica is the go-to agent for the purchase, sale, and leasing of restaurants and bars. She is a dedicated volunteer of Fred's Footsteps and spent four years on the Board of the Friends of Ronald McDonald House.

Veronica graduated from UCLA with a BS in Economics/Minor in Spanish. She also studied at the University of Seville (Spain).


Matthew Shanahan, Board Member

Executive Vice President, Philadelphia Market Lead, Healthcare Practice Group, JLL

Matthew is a commercial real estate professional specializing in healthcare/medical properties and clients. He currently leads the Healthcare Practice Group at Jones Lang LaSalle, after spending 23+ years in a similar role at Colliers International. He combines an expertise in office and healthcare real estate with a comprehensive approach to achieving his clients' business goals.

Matthew is a 1999 Graduate of Temple University's Fox School of Business.


Larry Pearlman, Board Member

Principal at LP Strategies

Larry Pearlman is currently a Principal at LP Strategies, a management consulting and executive coaching firm. He is a Senior Executive with expertise in assessing and building effective corporate cultures with a focus on building strong communication systems, team development, and driving both individual and team results by creating a culture of accountability. Larry also founded and operated M.L. Lawrence & Co., a luxury men's and women's clothing business for 25 years. Larry previously sat on the board of Depaul USA and Philadelphia Futures.

Larry is a graduate of UCLA where he received his BA.


Tom McCourt, Board Member

Veteran and Retired Writer

Tom is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserves and attended Temple University's Honors Program. Tom has served on several boards including the Legal Clinic for the Disabled and as a founding board member (and later board President) of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Philadelphia. He is currently the state board Vice President of NAMI (National Association on Mental Illness) Nevada.

Tom attended Temple University.


Leah Santos, Board Secretary and Member

Nurse, University of Pennsylvania Hospital

Leah is a Registered Nurse who for the last 10 years has used her experience to evaluate the Social Determinants of Health needs of community members in Philadelphia. She is the Liver Tumor Coordinator at Penn Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

Leah earned her BSN degree from Temple University.


Jill Greenfield Feldman, Board Treasurer and Member

Finance Manager, Harp-Weaver LLC

Jill provides financial management services to several foundations. Following her time as mutual fund accounting manager, she made the move to public accounting - working mainly with nonprofits and local unions. She became formally involved in philanthropy in 1999 serving as a trustee of a family foundation.

Jill earned her BS from Temple University.



Alan Morrison, Board Chair and Member

Retired Health Care Financial Advisor, Executive, and Investor

Mr. Morrison is a semi-retired financial advisor, executive, and investor with four plus decades of diversified experience in the healthcare industry. He has served as an advisor to hundreds of health care sector clients and on the boards of multiple health care companies including home health care providers, hospice organizations, and products suppliers. He also helped organize and served on the boards of several not for profits involved in animal rescue and cycling advocacy. He is an active fundraiser for numerous charitable and community service organizations.

Alan attended Villanova University for his undergraduate degree and Drexel University for postgraduate studies.


Michelle Ottey, Ph.D., Board Member

Managing Director, CIC Labs + Innovation Campus

Michelle Ottey, PhD, HCLD is a Philadelphia native who completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine after completing a doctorate in Genetics from Thomas Jefferson University. 
 
She transitioned from research science to science management and joined Fairfax Cryobank in 2006, eventually becoming its Laboratory Director. Michelle dedicated fifteen years to building a strong, effective, and efficient team with Fairfax Cryobank while serving on its Medical Advisory Board and as the spokesperson for Cryobank. 
 
Michelle joined CIC Labs + Innovation Campus in Philadelphia in 2022 as its Managing Director. She oversees external relationship building, strategic planning, and supports the thriving life science laboratory and greater Philadelphia Life Sciences ecosystem. 


Megha Kulshreshtha

CEO and Head of Product, Food Connect
Roddenberry Fellow, Published Author, NewsWorks - Health Leader, Social Innovations Award Recipient

Megha is the founder and CEO of Food Connect, a nonprofit organization on a mission to bridge the gaps in the food system to build healthier communities. Food Connect helps distribute over 50,000 last-mile meals on average every week, enables food vendors to donate their excess food in real-time and increases healthy food access to food deserts across the country. Their work has been recognized nationally for its innovation and impact. They have been featured in the Huffington Post, Johns Hopkins Journal for the Poor and Underserved, Vice Media, Triple Pundit, Social Innovations Journal, TechCrunch, FOX, and NBC. Prior to Food Connect, Megha was an Equity Portfolio Analyst for the North American Equities Team at Aberdeen Asset Management and a Corporate Actions Research Specialist at JPMorgan Chase.

The Sunday Love Project is a Pennsylvania not for profit corporation and is an IRS 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.   We are supported by individuals donors, volunteers, foundations, companies, selected government grantors, community groups, and like-minded not for profit organizations. . Donations are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.
